Recently, multiple countries have released the latest trade data, indicating that exports are starting to bottom out and rebound. China's foreign trade is also expected to achieve positive growth.
The latest data from the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade shows that the total import and export of goods in October reached approximately 61.62 billion US dollars, a month on month increase of 4.1% and a year-on-year increase of 5.6%. In terms of commodity exports, the value of commodity exports has rebounded in October, reaching approximately 32.3 billion US dollars, a month on month increase of 5.3%.
Previously, Vietnam's exports exceeded $30 billion per month for two consecutive months (August and September), higher than the average level for the first nine months of this year. If the export volume remains at a monthly level of 30 billion US dollars in the fourth quarter of 2023, the export volume may reach around 350 billion US dollars this year.
